Just starting to look at NFSv4. Anyone out there tryed it already?
I've just installed Solaris 10 (took me 3 days to download), but will prefer to run NFSv4 on Linux (Debian).
So, looking for comments, anyone!

Pretty thing. Works rather fast on Linux (at least on Fedora). Talks good to Solaris machines. But may require some additional tasks depending on your OS type and kernel. At least in some configs its support is turned off by default so you need to switch it on. But at least this possible headache is worthy.

What about security? Well, I know it's not correct to call GSS-API a feature of NFSv4, but that's a new feature I'm mostly interested in.

Not much into that. Can not judge since I have just started dealing with NFSv4
and haven't digged in details security issues.
