странное поведение форумского мэйла

acid, можешь объяснить, как работают и-мэйл нотификэйшены ?
ко мне они ходят как-то странно: на короткие топики - как полагаеться, один нотификэйшн и больше ничего, пока не откроешь топик. а на длинные - или на все новые посты по нотификэйшну или через пост. с утра проверяешь - куча новых писем на одну и ту же тему (если подписан на какой-нить "секс без любви" ).

На трэд можно подписаться из Thread Tools и при создании поста.
Если подписался через Thread Tools, тебе всегда будет приходить нотификейшн, независимо от того зашел ты на форум или нет. Если через собственный пост, тогда действует это правило:

ну я к тому, что это правило не всегда действует правильно
подписываюсь исключительно через свой пост, а нотификэйшны ресиваються по вышеописанной схеме.

Те посты, на которые ты получал нотификейшн были сделаны в течении часа?
Если да, то могу предположить что это от Subscription Scheduling. Все, что связано с Subscriptionами, обрабатывается в начале каждого часа.

И что у тебя показывает в UserCP -> View All Subscribed Threads для этих двух типов постов? Там есть instant, daily...

я так понимаю, в шедюлере должно быть что-то типа "select distinct" ?

кстати, на счет в течении часа - я "секс без любви" наверное неделю не смотрел, но мэйлы шли. правда не на все посты, а выборочно.
