Invitation to Town Hall Meeting //conf in Munich

Dear Participant:
On behalf of the “Armenia 2020 Project” and the German-Armenian Studentclub “Haik”, we would like to invite you to a Town Hall Meeting in Munich on October 21, 2006.
We would like to introduce to you the Armenia 2020 Project, a scenario-building initiative that focuses on the identification of alternative development models for the Republic of Armenia until the year 2020 and the elaboration of development scenarios for the country. The strength of the project is the mix of participants with diverse viewpoints; it aims to bring together committed and accomplished Armenians from Armenia and all over the world.
Armenia 2020 leaders will discuss opportunities for exponential growth in Armenia based on the results of an economic assessment conducted for Armenia 2020 by the consulting firm McKinsey & Company, and share highlights from the most extensive global survey to-date of Armenians around the world on Armenia’s future and economic development, commissioned by Armenia 2020.
The German-Armenian Studentclub "Haik" was founded in 2003, in Mannheim, Germany. Members of "Haik" are students, scholars and academics (mainly Armenian), who study and work in Germany. Within a short time, “Haik” has accomplished a network of Chapters in 16 German Universities. The main objective of “Haik” is to establish a network between Armenian and German students, young academicians and young professionals to forge educational, professional and cultural relationships between two nations. Furthermore the Club serves to strengthen the current and future potential of Armenia as well as Armenian Diaspora in Germany through different projects to support Armenians.
As a leader in your field and, most importantly, as an individual committed to building a prosperous Armenia, your participation in this Town Hall Meeting is critical. Lieber Teilnehmer, liebe Teilnehmerin,
um Ihre Anreise zu vereinfachen und Zeit und Kosten für Sie zu minimieren, haben wir in verschiedenen Städten, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Autovermietung AVIS, Mini-Busse organisiert. Wenn Sie an einer Mitfahrt interessiert sind, können Sie die Kontaktperson in der untenstehenden Tabelle kontaktieren. Die Fahrtkosten sind reine Selbstkosten. Diese beinhalten Miete und Treibstoffverbrauch und sind auf alle Mitfahrer gleich verteilt.
Die Mini-Busse, die im Einsatz sind, sind von der Marke Opel Vivaro mit 9 Sitzen, diese garantieren eine gemütliche und entspannte Fahrt. Da wir Ihnen den Anreisestress frühmorgens am Samstag ersparen möchten, werden die Busse einen Tag vorher, also am Freitag, den 20. Oktober, aus den Städten, verteilt im ganzen Bundesgebiet (siehe Tabelle unten), losfahren. Darüber hinaus würde dies die Möglichkeit schaffen, die anderen Konferenzteilnehmer am Freitagabend in einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre kennenzulernen.
Wir werden versuchen, den früher anreisenden Konferenz-Teilnehmern eine preiswerte Übernachtung in einem Münchener Hotel zu vermitteln. Der Übernachtungspreis wird sich auf ca. 40 EUR bis 60 EUR belaufen.
Die hier genannten Möglichkeiten stellen lediglich Alternativen zur stressfreien und kostensparenden Anreise dar, die wir Ihnen hiermit gerne anbieten möchten.
