For those who want secure connection to AKB can use the following URL:

Imho:
What is really needed here is to set up a compressed html output from a forum. Somewhere in options there is a place where U can set it up. It really saves bandwith.

Compressed html output (gzip) is turned on for about a year. There was also public announcement about it. The bandwith problem was the reason for us to turn this option on.

и писать на английском, скажу:

можете ускорить свое соединение с AKB

каким образом? Очень просто:
для "Internet Explorer"-а:

"Tools -> Internet Options" , выбрать закладку "Advanced" .
Прокрутите вниз, там увидите опции:
"Use HTTP 1.1"
и
"Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections"

Установите обе эти галочки, не забудьте нажать "ОК".
Все готово

А для Оперы ничего делать не надо, он по идее должен всегда посылать Accept-Encoding: gzip....

Да, думаю есть. Например когда читаешь PM в больших сетях, где могут сделать sniff.
