Смыхсл пола не ясен немного... я лично ответил что улучшилось.
Но другой более актуальный вопрос, на которий надо отвечать честно: Вы можете сказать, что сделали что-нибудь для того, что б жизнь в Армении улучшилась за последние годы... это правльйней...

What criteria are to be used? For some people, "better" means being able to buy plasma TVs and designer clothes. For others, "better" would simply be not having to wonder where the next meal is coming from.

Честно говоря, мое мнение таково. Жизнь (если под жизнью понимать уровень жизни в целом, уровень безработицы, нищеты и т.п.) улучшилась. Однако факт этот сегодня не так уж актуален. Жизнь улучшается -- но это улучшении не имеет перед собой везких перспектив. Очевидно, что небывал экономический рост очень скоро прекратится. Строить извечно мы не можем, и очень скоро число рабочих мест сильно сократится...

С другой стороны, жизнь может улучшилась, но то же самое нельзя сказать например о политической ситуации. Или например ситуация с эммиграцией...

Again I agree that the question is too general. in terms of economic development there has been some progress although it is not a supported by the necessary preconditions that could make it a long term stable process. I think that under current conditions it would slow down very soon. Those who would want to know the details please drop me a PM.

I don't want to go deep to analyze the political situtation in this country. I am getting nervous ..

The social, education and cultural aspects of our life are beyond any crticism . Absolute negligence and incompetence of the responsible agencies caused dramatic decrease in the intelectual capacity of the young generation . Social tensions are not visible from the first sight but being hidden deep in people's minds they would lead either to the complete indifference of the least protected layers or ( which is less probable)- to the open social conflicts ).
Cultural life of 95 % of the population is limited by watching ALM TV , worts samples of hollywood -produced movies and listening for russian or armenian pop musik which kills the remaining pieces of critical thinking .

There is no evidence that situation in any of the mentioned areas improved or will improve in the nearest future.

Most of the mass media resources intead of raising the demand level for the quality products of their audience - chose the easiest way of going after the most disgusting instincts and tastes .. "People havaet " as they say ..

I think that those who live on the money of US taxpayers or have their stable income from private sector have lot more opportunities to spend them on fancy food . clothes and comparatively better quality entertainment . For those the life is better but those are just 3-5 % of the population and they can not be called "the Armenia ". So my answer is life in Armenia is not getting better in global terms .. but life of some is certianly nicer then in 1992 .. 1995 -1998 -2000.

я чего-то не очень вижу этих самых улучшений. скорее очередные, как бы это помягче назвать, неприятные сюрпризы. чему радоваться-то ? повышению цен ? или, о чудо из чудес, газу в квартиры ?
