SYNOPSYS ARMENIA CJSC’s Silicon Engineering Group (SEG) announces job openings for the positions of Corporate Applications Engineers.





The successful candidate profile





As the Corporate Applications Engineer you will be the interface between Synopsys field/customers and Research and Development (R&D) operations. As the product expert, you will work with R&D and Synopsys customers to qualify and deploy Synopsys software tools for Custom Design / Analog-Mixed-Signal Design. This person is involved in but not limited to the following activities:



· Develop technology files for advanced semiconductor processes. Develop scripts for customization of flows

· Development of QA and regression tests

· Regular evaluations of product releases

· Development and delivery of product training

· Provide technical assistance in resolving customer issues that need a deeper understanding of the software tools

· Early customer evaluations involvement with customers for evaluating the software tools in early stage

· Review and writing of project specifications for new features



Necessary qualification requirements



· Must have Bachelor of Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Master of Engineering with 1+ years of experience.

· Good understanding of design flows (Analog/Mixed-Signal or ASIC), VLSI and/or CAD engineering is needed.

· Familiarity with UNIX shell, TCL, or Perl scripting

· Strong communication and leadership skills

· Good knowledge of English for oral and written business communication



Desired/advantageous qualification requirements



· Work experience in the field of Electronic Design Automation

· Knowledge of Analog Design, Custom Design, Simulation, manual or automatic IC layout, Standard Cell layout or Physical Verification
