JOB TITLE: Interviewer/Survey Numerator

LOCATION: Los-Angeles Area, USA

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Alpha Plus Consulting is bidding to win the project to carry out a survey of several hundreds of Armenian long- and short-term migrants in the Los Angeles area (California, USA). For that purpose, highly skilled surveyors are sought to be hired on a short-term basis to work as interviewers. The field work will be carried out in the LA area in late September – October and will last for two or three weeks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The accountabilities of the hired persons will include:
• Identification of households with Armenian migrants based on the pre-designed methodology;
• Checking if the approached migrants send money (remittances) back to Armenia on a regular or irregular basis;
• Conducting a 15-20 minute interview using the standardized questionnaire and guidelines (the questionnaire will be shared with the pre-selected candidates);

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent communication skills, in both Armenian and English;
• Experience in conducting interviews (consumer preference surveys, polls etc.);
• Driving license and own car;
• Good knowledge of the LA area;
• Legal status permitting to work in the USA legally

REMUNERATION:
A highly competitive remuneration base will be offered, specifically dependant upon the quality of the questionnaires filled, and the quantitative performance (number of approaches, number of the valid filled questionnaires etc.). The contract will be signed with the selected candidates provided that Alpha Plus Consulting is selected to carry out the survey.
