Customer Support Representative


Xalt LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of its Geneva, Switzerland based
parent. It has been established in Yerevan for over 18 months and
specializes in IT development. The company has a good team of full time
staff and works in a great office environment, using the latest technology
and enjoying strong support from its head office. Currently, Xalt has an
opening for three full time Customer Support Representatives. Please note,
this is a position that will require you to work a three shift pattern of
eight-hour duration and the job is based as being operational on 24 hours
per day, seven days per week basis.


As customer support representative you will be responsible for answering
phone calls, emails and online messages from Xalt's customers on specific
project related issues. You will be responsible for: logging each call,
providing the customer with a name and reference number for their inquiry,
being able to handle both technical and non technical issues, ensuring that
the customer feels that their inquiry is being handled competently by a
specialist, trying to resolve the customer's inquiry immediately and
ensuring that any further investigations into a customer inquiry are made
and that the customer is confident that their inquiry will be resolved
within a time period (deadline) stipulated by you. Further, you will be
required to work in a team environment, on your own initiative and to be a
strong communicator. The chosen candidate will also be required to build an
online database of call inquiries, handling and resolution. This database
will be used for both training and analytical purposes.


You should have advanced PC skills with a basic knowledge of computer
hardware and software. You should be familiar with different operating
systems including Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP, Linux/UNIX. In addition,
familiarity with computer networks, equipment and terminology would be
advantageous. Xalt will train you in the projects that it requires you to
handle from a customer support perspective.


Armenian - excellent verbal/written/understanding
Russian - excellent verbal/written/understanding
English - excellent verbal/written/understanding
French or other languages - advantageous
Able to work under pressure and as part of an international team
Organized, methodical, dynamic and team-oriented person
Willing to learn new skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a good, clear communicator
