background in Engineering) and one for Administrative Officer (with
background in Business Management).

Engineering College Administration

JOB DESCRIPTION
INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER

EDUCATION: Master▓s Degree in Arts and Science
Proficiency in English Language

EXPERIENCE: Practical knowledge of manufacturing.
Minimum one year work experience in Industrial Art Design.
Familiar with concepts of metal, plastic, rubber and wood
processing,Like Forging, Stamping, Casting, Plastic Injection and Mechanical Treatment for metals and wood.

SKILLS: High skills in both Artistic and Ergonomic aspects for designing products.
High level of Computer skills, Solid Works is must.
Knowledge of Rhinoceros, Corel Draw or other Computer Programs
for designing products would be helpful..

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Responsible for the artistic and ergonomic design of Olympia▓s new
products under development.
** Develops art design for products like hand tools, machines, sets and
packages for hand tools.
** Introduces creative and critical approach for product development.
** Introduces basic and modern concepts of Products Art Design.
** Fabricates samples manually or by use of machine of the new developed
products.

CONTACTS AND LIAISON:
** Contacts his supervisor or his counter part in Head Office for problems
related to the design of products,
cooperates with the other members of the Engineering Group with a
spirit of good team player to produce
technically acceptable model of the new product.
** Liaises with Engineering Firms, Art Institutes, Professionals and
Business Organizations for new concepts
and to determine the new trends in the market place for the design and
manufacture of products.

JOB DESCRIPTION
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

EDUCATION: University Graduate, Master▓s Degree in Business
Minimum one year experience in business activities,
in the area of Administration and Office Operations.

LANGUAGE: Proficiency Level in English and Armenian Language,
Reading, Writing and Speaking. As supplement, Russian
Language preferable.

SKILLS: Computer Literate: Conversant with Computer Applications,
Word Processing, Accounting Systems, Spreadsheets, Data Base, and familiar
with the use of Internet System and Email Communication.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(1)- Administrative Function:
Assists the Branch Manager in performing the following administrative tasks:
a)- Maintains record of personnel actions and updates employee files.
b)- Maintains attendance record of the employees.
c)- Maintains complete record of vacation time and sick leave of the
employees.
d)- Maintains specific records and files in the computer as directed by the
Branch Manager.
e)- Performs all duties related to Personnel Services, namely, travel
arrangements for employees,
Head Office personnel, visitors and guests visiting Olympia Yerevan
Office on business ,
including accommodation, transportation and entertainment
arrangements.

(2)- Office Operations:
Responsible for carrying out all duties related to Office operations:
a)- Secretarial Duties: Includes preparation and dispatch of letters /Fax
and Email communications,
maintenance of Company records and files, preparation of reports as
required, translation,
interpretation, answering telephone calls, meeting visitors, making
appointments, etc┘
b)- Office Services: Includes handling of mail and postage, procurement of
office supplies and
stationary, arranging the cleaning and the sanitary facilities of the
office, preparation and forwarding
of documents, parcels and samples, etc┘
c)- Maintenance and Repairs: Includes arrangements for the maintenance and
repairs of the Office Building
and Office Equipment, namely Computers, Printers, Telephone/Fax
Machines, Furniture/Fixtures, etc┘

(3)- Contacts and Liaison:
a)- Contacts the Social Security Organization for problems related to unemployment and retirement benefits and services.
b)- Liaison with Branch Manager for evaluation of employee performance
procedure.
c)- Contacts Contractors or the Landlord of the Office Building for arranging repairs of the building,facilities and equipment as and when required. Contacts specialized services in emergency situations.
