"JAZZ & DRAM" FESTIVAL TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN, May 22. /ARKA/. A "Jazz & Dram" festival is to be held at the Yerevan Puppet Theater on May 25, on the initiative of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA).
CBA Press Secretary Zaruhi Barseghyan reported that this concert will continue a series of similar events initiated by the CBA.
"The jazz-music lovers will be able to listen to the best local performers and get acquainted with the history of the Armenian dram in a fascinating way," she said.
Barseghyan reported that the slogan of the festival will be "We trust national currency" and will draw jazz-lovers' attention by combining music and economy.
"Among the performers will be the jazz bands `Vahan Hayrapetyan and Cats' and `Chiko & Friends' with the participation of Arsen Nersisyan, as well as the master of Armenian jazz Levon Malkhasyan," she said.
Barseghyan also reported that this tradition will be upheld. "This November the CBA intends to organize a festival to combine economy and one of the musical genres popular in Armenia," she said.
Barseghyan pointed out that among the information sponsors of the concert are the ARKA News Agency, the Novosti-Armenia Agency of International Information, RA Public Television, Yerkir Media and Shant TV companies as well as the Raduio-Jazz and Hi-FM radios.
On April 13, on the initiative of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA), the "Rock & Dram" festival was held at the Yerevan Puppet Theater. Among the participants were local rock performers, including the singer Eva, and groups EMPYRAY, The King's Cross, Striff, Bambir and Vostan Hayoc. P.T. -0--

дык я же не говорю, что ты не знаешь, как зовут Ваагна

плохо, что в АРКА этого не знают, ну и еще не знают, что эффективность неграмотного пресс-релиза скорее отрицательна, чем в общем наоборот... ну дак ладно, главное чтобы концерт был хороший, а он в принципе и не может быть плохим, правда, жалко что очередность не совсем логична в ракурсе динамики... от фактического авангарда назад в прошлое - согласись, это декаданс...
