The Armenian Bone Marrow Registry will hold a telethon on April 13, between 4:00 and 9:00 PM/PST. The event, will be televised by Southern California Charter Communications: Channel 281 (High Vision), Channel 283 (ATV), Channel 285 (Horizon), Channel 286 (ISN), Galaxy 25 Satellite (aka TelStar 5/Globecast) Horizon 24 Hour Armenian Channel (Frequency: 12115 V,Transponder: 23, Symbol Rate: 22425) and also can be viewed on the web on ABMDR | Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry Home Page and Horizon Armenian Television 24/7 on Satellite. The goal of the telethon is to raise awareness for Registry and to raise $ 650,000 for a first-of-its-kind Pan Armenian Stem Cell Harvest Center in Yerevan-Armenia.
