Lightbulb Best OS to Use at Home?

Just curious to know which one IYHO it is:

1. Win2k
2. XP Pro
3. Jaguar (X Mac OS)
4. Puma OS (http://www.cs.sandia.gov/puma)
5. LFS (http://scholar.google.com/url?q=http://bears.ece.ucsb.edu/personnel/astornet/resume/argone.ps)
6. Debian Linux
7. .rpm based distributions of Linux
8. Open/Net/Free BSD

the question is not only for advanced PC users, people who use notebooks/PPC can also tell us what's been their experience with OSs...

From personal experience: Win2K (never tried XP) and Fedora Core 2 (for unexperienced users). Note that I'm using Debian testing (Sagre) on my Laptop (but some features still doesn't work) and Debian stable (Woody) on my desktop, but both installations required some "tweaking" and deep voodo.

Only SUSE Linux and then maybe some version of Windows for change (once in a while).

Fedora maybe, but too much work.
The same goes for rpm based linyx(es).

Debian is stable but I want new things as well.

Arch Linux:
