Конвертер армянской орфографии

The Common Ground Armenian Orthography Converter is a freeware tool to assist in the conversion of Microsoft Word texts from Soviet to Traditional Orthography, or vice versa.
Note that this tool only assists with conversion. The Converter, while designed to be highly accurate, does not eliminate the need for proofreading and editing by the user.
It is designed primarily for Eastern Armenian text, although it handles Western Armenian text with a fairly high degree of accuracy as well.
Once installed, the program is accessed through a button on the Toolbar of your screen in Microsoft Word (usually on the top left).
The program can be uninstalled at any time through the Start Menu (Program Manager).
We have tried to make the Converter as complete as possible, but it is a work in progress and the more it is used, the more it can be corrected.
Since it is a freeware tool, please share it with others freely. We ask that you send us, at info@commonground.am any problematic words or situations, or any other suggestions you may have.
lease note that even in Traditional orthography there is a certain amount of variation in conventions for writing passives (ու, վ, ւ) and the կը particle for verbs. We have opted for the version that is easiest to convert into the others via global replace in Word. Thus, if you do not wish to write կը as a separate particle, you may replace all կը with կ</B>. Similarly, if you do not wish to write passives with ու you may replace the ու with վ in the various verb endings in which it appears.

Сегодня в новостях говорили, что надо бы нам переходить от советской армянской орфографии к классической. Вот такой конвертер еще изобрели. Анужно ли нам в действительности это?
