Mozilla Firefox+extensions
(в частности RussKey оч рекомендую поставить всем, кто периодически должен писать по-русски,а загружать переключалку языков лень. прямо в браузере делает перекодировку с транслита на русский собссно именно им и пишу

editCSS - отдельный или из webdevelop-а позволяют на лету кромсать CSS странички. оч удобно для экспериментов и чтоб не долбаться в тем, css из cache взялся или скачался по-новой

ColorZilla позволяет очень цивильно тырить понравившиеся цвета ну и смотреть что именно под курсором творится -- какой элелемт к каким стилем.
на FreeBSD них не работает, редиска

на крайний случай они их берут в гугле или на mozilla.org

или сносят mozill-у и продолжают пользоваться IE
