Do you really think it's feasible in terms of costs including physical aspects and tests, verification ... changing the manufactruing and production flows at pure-plays is feasible but they will surely make fab-less suppliers do the tests and verification etc in-house and then ship their ip blocks ... there are many other factors that make this idea a challenge even for such giants like Intel TSMC or IBM ... The mere mention of the royalties/licenses per IP block ... all to a man will say no!

there is virtually no way to stop computer piracy, as there is no way to stop people from not wanting to pay. RAM chips were just one temporary solution that i considered in my research. complete 100% solution where both producer and consumer would be happy is not possible.

p.s.
unless someone comes up with some GREAT UNBEATABLE IDEA

oh no am not out of my mind to pay $700 for software that i can get for free. Don't forget that paper presented was a research for my English class

The reason why I asked regarding 'writer's research interests' is this: You realize you will be spending more time in school and this will keep you out of the workforce all that much longer and if you might need someone for your research papers I am open to your suggestions - instead I just need my name to appear somewhere as a technical editor/reviewer ...
