Lightbulb Сonverting FrameMaker files into Unix Man Pages

To convert FM files into Unix man pages, do the following:

1) Save your FM documents as XML.

2) See http://www.adobe.com/products/framem...fs/faq_xml.pdf for details.

3) Alternatively, save your FM documents as SGML first, and then do the SGML-XML conversion.

4) Take a look at http://jclark.com/sp/sx.htm

5) Write a DTD to convert your XML files into nroff or troff formats, as
applicable.

enjoy!

FM to Unix Man Pages

hi guys

Warm hello to all. I am new member of your group and working in Bangalore (India). I am looking for information related to conversion of frame maker files into Linux/Unix man pages. I tried by saving the FM files in XML format and later on using webworks to convert it into man pages. But I am having problems since my FM has lot of tables and figures. Any help on this.

Thanks in advance

Best Rgds
