10 |  2Web Developers| PHP,Perl,HTML,.... files hi, as far as there is no forum about "Web Development", I'll make my post here.  I was using notepad for a long time, but debugging applications was hard and boring. Now I'm using "HandyHTML Editor" and someimes "MasterPHP editor". Now I would like to know what editor do you use for editing PHP,Perl,HTML,.... files. BWT i suggest you dear Admin to rename this forum to "Web Development" or create a new one, cos I (and I think other web developers too) don't know where to post topics a about PHP,ASP,JavaScript,HTML.... Thanks! |

10 | VERY VERY GOOD TOPIC. I myself always wanted to ask that question. I also was writing with Notepad, then turned to PrimalScript... Now I'm using it [trial]. Please anyone who gives any program name here, also give the URL where it can be downloaded. Thanks.

10 | In windows I'm using Bred2 (www.astonshell.com) editor,there is no syntax highlightin, bu i like it, for debuggig: in perl i use perl -c , for php just opening it in borowser. Tools like Visaul perl,etc are driving me mad!!!!  !(but i can suggest you phpedit (www.phpedit.net)i's very good php editor (like Visual studio editor, it can comlete youre oprator,), and it's freeware. In Linux I'm using vim in console , gvim in X-for writing programs, and bluefish (it's very simular with home site) to create html.
