The purpose of the website is to promote equal opportunities - e.g. not only friends of advertizers should be aware of job openings! And so far all the users are happy! And they don't care if the website doensn't look like yahoo site at all. And more importantly this site is non-for-profit!

I wonder what exactly you don't like about that?

For instance, don't you want to be aware what job openings are available in the country and what career activities are going on just sitting at your computer?

Let me clarify this again: The http://www.careercenter.am web site doesn't offer jobs, but it distributes the job & career related opportunities announced by respective organizations! This project is done for people, who may be looking for a job and/or career related opportunities and become aware, as those come up. So our role is to rize awareness! And all of it is for free.

I'm glad we get continous suggestions for improvement of the careercenter.am web site. The main purpose is to deliver job announcements to those interested. The web design initially has not been a priority. We have just started this project and are currently working to put more relevant contect and we don't have a professional web specialist at this point, because all of our team members work on volunteering bases.

In fact the introduction starts with one question, which clearly states that the service is free of charge. But in any case we will think over your comment! Thanks for your suggestion, which certainly sounds very friendly, but we are an organization and can't introduce the web site in that particular way! The organization has newly established and it's name is Career Development Association (CDA) and careercenter.am is a project of CDA.

Hello.In fact the idea of creating that kind of site is perfect,because it is the first site in .am zone which provides such services.I think the Design is not the most important point.The most important is the content,which is the General problem of Armenian sites(In my humble opinion of course

).I think you could also think about Resume accepting.I mean that the persone looking for a job could post his/her resume and experiences in this or that branches on your site,so for the employers to look through the resumes and choose the persone who best fits for that job.This service will greatly help to make the site more popular.Think over this.

Thanks for your comments. It is in the plans to enable the resume posting and other features, and at some point we will have all those regular features at the careercenter.am web site. We will soon announce for a volunteer position of Webmaster for the CDA. So once we have a webmaster, who will be working particularly on the web only, then we will have those other features too.
