На самом деле как мне сказали в банке (Citibank), это в целях безопасности, мол если вы делаете покупки через инет дебетовой картой, злоумышленники могут украсть ВАШИ деньги, а кредтной это деньги банка и вы не рискуете. По моему это полная фигня и просто маркетинговй ход чтобы люди кредитки делали. Я в любом случае сделаю кредитку (уже сделал, скоро принесут), и у них есть grace period, и я могу покупать по кредитку и не платить проценты. Мне пока такая ситуация устраивает.

А что касается кражи денег, можно просто хранить деньги на счёте который не привязан к карточке, и при надобности переводить нужную сумму на счёт который привязан к карточке. при таком раскладе хрен кто что украдёт, если не будет знать пин кода, а его никто и не узнает.

There is another option, however, and that is - card-to-card transfer. If you tell me the number of your card, I can most probably transfer money to you through ATM. That'd be more convenient for me, because if I send a cashier's check, I will have to pay additional 15 bucks to the bank. I will do it, if it's the last thing I can do, but why bother if we can get along with a simple transfer? Thanks, waiting for your reply.

I regret things got so delayed. I went to my bank to write a cashier's check and told them the whole story. They got surprised that there's a place where Mastercard is rejected (My bank is HSBC). They have also warned me that if I send a cashier's check, you will be able to get cash if only you have an HSBC account.
David, I really want to buy the cover and I'm running short of payment workarounds. I promised it to my friend and I don't want to let him down. Let's please try to come up with a solution to this problem, it's been a while already. Thanks for cooperation and assistance.
