Not because of that at all. Just because if I we had to save 5 musical masterpieces(say there is a comet coming to Earth), you would surely take something from Mozart. If you had to take 100, 1000 or even 10000 pieces, Piaf might not be in the list.

Well writers and performers are somehow different categories, dont you find? I mean a person who doesn't like chanson or music like that could never been heard of Piaf. That has nothing to do with inteligency.
