Never, ever in any circumstances, say that you are an expert in English, because, YOU ARE NOT such a one.
An expert wouldn't have made such a blunder:
"Translation is an art but ..."
The word "ART" is an uncountable noun, AND YOU CAN NOT USE AN ARTICLE WITH IT!!!

my dear aramx you are an Armenian expert of English but English is my mother tongue cause I am just a guest in Armenia i was not even born here

what is true about your comment is that when you are a resident of an English speaking country you talk English with many deviations and those who learn English as their SECOND language they always remember the rules you can find a lot of Americans who tlak English in a way that breaks all the rules you know so don't bother about that, man, everything is all right!!! relax

so not to have any confusion I will clarify , I am not and expert but I am a native speaker though my roots are Armenian

Well that American English sux, you know, people who speak American English always make grammar mistakes, and it drives me mad

priva aramx jan I agree with you but believe me British English is even worse if they speak it in the way they speek in streets, lets say, yep you are right it ****s. But it depends what level are the people you are talking to, but believe me even if you are an educated person it is extremely difficult and tough to speak the language of old English movies I suppose you will be really mad once you appear to listen to London's cockney
