Hi, after installing the newest motherboard drivers and Win98 Service Pack 2 for proper USB functioning for flash drive, I am still experiencing a problem: Windows shows "Found New Hardware" dialog and my computer hangs up. Could you please help me to resolve this? Any ideas? Thanks in advance. |

First of all - Win98 SP2, or Win98 SE? As I see, your comp hungs up immediately after Win loading - then you have no way to solve the matter without re-installing. And why Win98 SE? Have not enought hard resources to install WinXP?

1. Service Pack for Win98SE. 2. The comp hangs up only if I enter flash drive into USB port and windows tries to add new device (USB for flash). 3. Have no enough RAM to install WinXP (64 Mb). |
