Question Laziness - Is it a good or bad quality? Why?

Barew!

This one was inspired by Dorothy in her post at http://forum.armkb.com/showpost.php?...4&postcount=42

I have an opinion but would like to read some of yours before expressing my own one...

Lav egheq!

hmmm..
perhaps it may sometimes prevent people from doing things even worse than laziness itself is..

Psi, let me think...
say, going and beating someone but you feel so reluctant to move away from your cosy armchair that the one to be beaten stays safe and sound

It is neigther good nor bad, as anything else in the world. Good or bad can be results of lasiness. When it goes to extreme, it is bad since it prevents one from doing anything at all. But a slight touch of lasiness can be found in almost any invention.

Well, yes, I admit - I am lazy, but I'm never reluctant to do things, which I find really important. My everyday's struggle with my own laziness has become an essential part of my life and I'm happy with it - you have to overcome certain obstacles to achieve something great, otherwise it would be too boring to live and work It is necessity where my laziness actually ends, and it is necessity where progress actually starts. I'm sure that things could have been much worse if I were not only lazy but also totally indifferent and reluctant to change something

Of course it's a very good quality!

If men weren't lazy would they ever invent anything?

All inventions have a strong common target: doing things in an easier way. So...

Thanks Ramzes, for putting things in a so simple way. I think you too are in our group - Dorothy, Gayka(?) and me, besides some who feel ashamed of confessing it - or am I wrong?
