Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator - Civic Advocacy Support Program
LOCATION: Yerevan, Armenia
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Role of Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator is to support an effective implementation of Civic Advocacy Support Program in Armenia by developing and maintaining effective Program Monitoring and Evaluation Systems, by conducting regular program and project evaluations, and by coordinating program reporting.
B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Develop and maintain an effective program monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system in collaboration with the HQ and Regional Offices staff;
Ensure that M&E systems and procedures are well-integrated with donor reporting systems and procedures.
Provide assistance and support to the country offices in building their capacities to design and implement effective Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting systems.
Provide guidance and training, as necessary, to the ISO staff in monitoring and evaluation procedures.
Conduct program monitoring visits as per program needs.
Design and conduct program and project evaluations in coordination with respective regional and country staff in line with Counterpart Program in the Caucasus;
Analyse information collected by M&E systems, including MIS, prepare qualitative and quantitative analyses, make recommendations for improvement of current programs and design of future ones;
Prepare and conduct verbal and written presentations to the program staff and external stakeholders on Counterpart Program results, impacts and lessons learned.
Perform other duties as per request of the Project Director.
C. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Higher education.
Minimum of five years’ work experience, preferably in the NGO sector.
Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation systems highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience analyzing information, writing analytical reports, and preparing and delivering presentations of results.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues. Must be capable working both individually and as a part of the team.
Excellent communication skills: writing, speaking and listening.
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail.
Fluency in written and spoken English, Armenian and Russian.
Willingness to enhance knowledge through training and personal initiative.
Willingness to perform other duties and work irregular hours.
