JOB TITLE: Training Coordinator

POSITION LOCATION: Yerevan, Armenia

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Counterpart International (CPI) Office in Yerevan invites applications from highly qualified, energetic and experienced Armenian professionals for the post of Training Coordinator.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Under supervision of the Project Director the incumbent will perform the following tasks.

Information

- Manage CASP files and documents;

- Search out and review for relevance written documentation on advocacy from a wide range of sources;

- Design and implement a readily accessible index of available advocacy resource materials and their sources;

- Disseminate information in consultation with CASP staff;

- Arrange for translation and production of particularly relevant documents in consultation with CASP staff;

- Develop a CASP website and maintain it in consultation with CASP, Counterpart staff and consultants;

- Develop over 18 months an “essential library” of advocacy materials that can be produced in Russian and Armenian and distributed widely in Armenia as permanent legacy of CASP.

- Manage information gathering and database for the CASP M & E system;

- Manage system for collection of CASP success stories;

- Produce draft success stories;

- Establish and maintain a system for collecting information about media events related to CASP.

Training

- Manage CASP training logistics in collaboration with the Counterpart Training Coordinator;

- Schedule training at the request of CASP staff;

- Maintain logistical liaison with CASP training providers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Higher education (at least BA degree) in Law, Political or Social Sciences.

Minimum of two years’ work experience, preferably in the NGO sector.

Excellent English, Armenian and Russian oral and written communications skills.

Demonstrated experience analyzing information and writing analytical reports.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan.

Computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Willingness to enhance knowledge through training and personal initiative.

Willingness to perform other duties as assigned, work irregular hours and undertake travel as required.
