Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Yerevan, Armenia
Counterpart International’s Community and Humanitarian Assistance Program (CHAP) is a US-government sponsored activity that assists vulnerable and needy people in Armenia through governmental and non-governmental social service organizations.
Administrative Manager is a full-time national staff position based in CHAP Yerevan office. Administrative Assistant is responsible for external relations and daily administrative activity in the office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Public outreach and external communications
Drafting new project proposals and justifications
Preparation of quarterly program reports
Co-ordination of incoming and outgoing office correspondence
Communication and coordination with transportation companies if necessary
Managing office inventory; office supplies planning and procurement
Visit coordination including putting together itineraries
Provision of translation and interpretation services (Armenian, Russian, and English)
Answering office phone calls
Assisting Country Director with other duties assigned
Required Qualification and Experience:
Excellent knowledge of, Armenian, English, and Russian language;
Good computer skills and competency in standard MS Office applications (MS Word, Power Point, Excel); working knowledge of Access is a plus;
Ability to work as a team member and independently;
Strong organizational skills and attention to details;
Prior experience with other International organizations is desired.
Working Conditions:
Position based in Yerevan, Armenia. Five eight-hour day work week.
