Boots
An old couple, Ray and Bessie, decides spending winter in Texas. Ray's forever dream since he was a kid was having a pair of true cowboy's boots.
One day, he sees in a store a pair not too expensive, decides to buy them and proudly marches home on his neww cowboy's boots!
When arriving home, he asks Bessie:
- Do you notice something different on me?
Bessie examines him and replies:
- No!
Frustrated, Ray locks himself in the bathroom, removes all his clothes, and goes out completely naked, except that he was always wearing his boots. So he asks his wife:
- Do you notice something different on me NOW?
Bessie examines him and replies:
- Ray, what's the difference? It looks down today, as it did yesterday, and will do tomorrow...
Furious, Ray shouts:
- And you know why it's looking down? Because it is admiring my new boots!
Bessie thinks a bit and replies:
- You should have bought yourself a hat!
