Team Assistant - World Bank
The World Bank Yerevan Office announces a vacancy for a two-year term position of Team Assistant to provide general administrative support to the External Affairs Officer (EAO).
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Recording and preparing minutes of meetings
Drafting, editing, producing and distributing routine external and/or internal outreach materials
Arranging interviews and news conferences
Assisting in administering the WB Small Grants Program under the guidance of EAO
Complying media updates for highlighting the most important news in Armenia
Administering the Public Information Center (PIC) and the Armenia Country website under the guidance of EAO
Coordinating logistics for the WB senior-level missions visiting Armenia
Coordinating translations of relevant documents, ensuring deadlines and priorities, applying effective proofreading and grammar skills in English, Armenian, Russian to check translations.
Qualifications & Requirements
The successful candidate should have:
Higher education
· Excellent knowledge of English (written and oral skills)
· Two years of experience in administrative support work
· Computer literacy in word processing and database management
· Experience in Web-updating and PIC activities
· Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and shift priorities simultaneously
· Ability to work under pressure with continuous quality improvement
· Good interpersonal skills
