Gold Recovery Company is seeking candidates for the following positions:
1.Occupational Health and Safety Officer
Required qualifications:
Demonstrable education or experience in a background of occupational health, public health and/or industrial safety systems, experience in all three will be highly regarded, but not considered to be essential as on-the-job training will be provided
Workable knowledge of spoken and written English
Computer literate in software such as MS Office and Explorer
Current driver’s license
Job responsibilities:
Coordinate Occupational Health and Safety functions in an industrial working environment
Supervise Occupational Health and Safety teams to provide quality service to operating departments
Liase with appropriate government departments and agencies
Responsible for the improvement and continued excellence in Occupational Health and Safety of the operations
2. Training Officer
Required qualifications:
Demonstrable education or experience in a background of trade education and operator training, experience in heavy equipment will be highly regarded although not considered essential as this position is more in the lines of coordination and “training the trainer”
Workable knowledge of spoken and written English advantageous
Computer literate in software such as MS Office and Explorer
Current driver’s license
Job responsibilities:
Coordinate training of heavy equipment operators
Develop and supervise training staff
Liase with department heads to provide appropriate training programmes
Responsible for the improvement and continued excellence in operational efficiencies
The positions are based at Vardenis, with possibility of expansion of responsibilities on demonstration of capabilities.
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience and responsibilities
