my personal opinion on whether or not Turkley shoudl join the EU is that one should normally ask the opinion of the EU citizens before all else. I think most of them wouldn't like to have major social disruptions in their countires and in Europe in general...

As far as I have learnt the guy was responsible for many steps back of John Paul II. And the first mass in latin...

About Europe, Hrach it's not the citizens who decide! It's the leaders apointed by the money interests...

So... as Vatican are one of the most powerful money-making-machine on earth (Istituto per le Opere di Religione), may be he can influence the decision...

Anyway "entering" Europe will be good for the turks who have already the power now... at medium term it will be bad for the turkish people in general.
