The USAID Armenia Legislative Strengthening Program (ALSP) provides technical assistance to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, in areas of legislative process, constituency relations and public outreach.
ALSP is pleased to announce vacancies for unpaid internship positions for undergraduate and graduate students. Students specializing in law, political science, economics, sociology, international relations and information systems management are especially encouraged to apply.
Interns will help ALSP local staff with day-to day operations. These tasks may include following:
General support assistance
Translations
Assistance for workshops and trainings
Qualifications
Students should have an interest in the work of the National Assembly and relations between civil society organizations and government.
Interns should be self-motivated, have English language skills, computer skills, research skills and excellent interpersonal skills (the ability to work independently under instruction and as part of a team).
An intern will be expected to work a fixed schedule of a minimum of 10 hours/week.
