LOCATION: Yerevan, Armenia and on client’s site in Brussels, Belgium.
JOB DESCRIPTION: BRONCOWAY is looking for highly experienced Java developers for a long-term project with EU partner. The job will require close interaction with the specification design team and traveling to the EU.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will work in close collaboration with the Project Manager to understand the application requirements and be able to validate that the development answers the requirements.
Will integrate into a team of developers based in Yerevan and Brussels. Will contribute to the development of the core modules of a large risk management platform in Java.

Professional skills:
Must be a polyvalent Java developer who can do both web development (using the technologies below) and core J2EE development. As the Java modules will be managed through the Internet the person should have both skills in order to develop the necessary web interfaces to the Java modules.
Must have excellent knowledge and in-depth experience in:
• servlets/jsp
• flash (as programmer, not as graphist) or Rich web clients frameworks (e.g. Laszlo)
• struts
• advanced html/css/javascript
• UML
• design patterns/web applications development best practices
• unit testing of web applications (HttpUnit, Cactus)
• xml and associated technologies (xsd, data binding, etc.)
• J2EE/EJB (especially message driven bean)
• jms
• design patterns/j2ee development best practices
• unit testing (JUnit)
• major J2EE application server, preferably IBM Websphere
• development and deployment of clustered applications
Should have good knowledge and some experience in:
• object relational mapping tools (hibernate)
• jdbc
• spring
• velocity
Desired qualifications:
Ability to produce high quality code
• Ability to respect deadlines;
• Be a team player and capable of excellent communication with other (remote) team members.
• Be creative and come up with new solutions and ideas.
• Should be open to travel Europe. The job might require an initial internship of about three months in Brussels.
