Gays and Lesbians
Gays and Lesbians do not have to suffer any more , come to Canada where several provinces have legalized same sex marraige with equal rights to hetrosexual unions , at the present time our parliament is debating to make it legalized federaly , ofcourse many religous groops are opposing this move , but it will be voted in . on the other hand more and more hetrosexual couples are choosing to live together rather than get married . comments ?

Canada is trying to protect the rights of every citizen , those people have to have legal rights and protection ,and it is up to them to choose their next of kin , me as a Christian and a MD , have many concerns , how ever it is not for me to judge .
Mono , do you not think that there are Armenian Gay Bishops , I know of two , one of them went to school in Armenia with my husband

both. being gay is a sin like many other things and i can't do anything against it as sin is a human feature. killing gay people is a bigger sin than being a gay.

Barew!
This is a somehow difficult field as usually (some) people "use" the religion as a shield and (other) people want to nullify that shield.
First of all I must say that - being myself heterossexual - I've nothing against what I (not just me) use to call the option for living taken by the homossexuals. I want to confirm that, having been raised as a catholic, I believe that there was a superior entity - no matter its name - that created the wonder that is the Universe, but I don't follow any religion, because religions are based on men (and women) like me, so none is perfect.
This said I'm going to expend some previous considerations before stating my own opinion about the subject launched by my dearest Sevan.
1.- If we look at the great Nature we can see that in almost all the different animals known by us we see that there are males and females. And humans are no different. My obvious conclusion is that things are this way with the purpose of procriation. Once again, humans are no different.
2.- I believe that the marriage institution was invented not for religious reasons but for giving the man and/or woman the "legal" possession of each other. This is the main reason why I'm against marriage.
3.- There are a raising number of men and women who decide living together without getting married. That is their option for living.
4.- At least in my country there is still a lot to do for granting to the de facto couples (man and woman not "legally" married) all the rights that are granted to the de jure ones.
This said, what I think is that:
a)- The "de jure" couples I referred above get all the rights granted to the married people;
b)- The homossexuals should not have the right of getting married (against the mother Nature);
c)- With some restrictions(*) the homossexual couples get the the same rights as the married people.
(*) For instance, they should not be allowed to adopting a child, as children need a father (man) and a mother (woman), not two mothers nor two fathers.
Ugh! I think it's all... for the moment!
Cheers!

I didn't give any f*** about any bishop, armenian or american or chinese.
First of all i was speaking about christian bishops ( not US ) because lightontheshore said that she is a christian.. so my concern here is the abnormal situation in chrisianity not gays
Gays existed from the begining of the history and will always exist
