Being on the safe side
Hi!
This one was whispered in Prague, after what was called in the west the Prague Spring. Prague was occupied by soviet troops.
A guy enters a police station and says:
- Comrade Commissioner! A swiss soldier stole my russian watch!
The commissioner took off his hat, rubbed his head, and said in a very paternal way, breathing cleverness (as any cop in the world) from all his holes:
- You mean a russian soldier stole your swiss watch!
Our hero replied:
- You said it, comrade! I didn't!
