Not for me (I'm a mobile user but only for emergencies) but I'm glad to know this helps somebody!

Cheers!

Well, this can even help in a sort of emergency. It can save your phone's id number in a global database and help to trace the phone when lost or stolen.

You mean IMEI? You don't need to have a software for IMEI. There are codes for every model to show IMEI on the phone. What you have to do is simply write down somewhere on paper and that's it But... even tho' you wrote it down and phone is stolen there is a big chance that the IMEI will be changed It's not so difficlut nowadays...

Cheers.

Well, IMEI code on a piece of paper does not do much. It is harder to change it in the phone now than it once used to be and stored in a database like myphonesafe.com can help to trace the phone a lot.

I can't understand why from time to time you delete your previous message and copy/paste the same text as new post... Are you doing it on purpose?

Anyway, I'll close this thread.
