What happened to gmail?

It's been couple days gmail is "temporary closed"... Is this serious?

That's really strange.
I don't have any problems with gmail, it's available as usual.

I think their servers are country based.

i've got such msges many times, also gmail notifier reports error 'couldn't cnnct to server'. but in some mins, sometimes hrs, it comes back.

I use to check it with Outlook, and besides a couple of times I received a message stating that pop server was not found, I had no problems. And even those I had I think they were dur to the fact that I was too fast connecting to them after connecting to my ISP's pop server...
