With extensive relationships throughout the mobile industry and an impressive track record of innovation, Mobile Innovation has deep expertise in the world of mobile UI design and implementation. As a result of the acquisition, Macromedia will further its ability to innovate in the mobile domain, providing customers and partners with customizable world-class solutions for delivery of mobile applications and content built on the Flash Platform.
The acquisition will create a mobile consulting practice for Macromedia and will form part of the Macromedia Consulting team in EMEA. The acquisition follows a strategic partnership formalised in January, under which Mobile Innovation would create and develop a range of concept user interfaces for handset manufacturers and network operators that demonstrate the advantages of using Macromedia Flash Lite to create innovative mobile UI design.
