Re: my grandma's story
lightontheshore , I read your father's story several times and he is right that the victims of the Soviet times are forgotten , but the the blame for that falls fully on the present government and the historians of Armenia , our experiences in Armenia when ever we visit friends and relatives , we find that they still live in fear and do not express thier feelings freely , that has to stop . many of my relatives were imprisoned and shot , takn to the Northen Russia and never heard from them again , many of my fathers family members went back to Armenia in 1946 never to be heard from them again . my grandmother makes sure that we learn as much as possible about the Genocide and the Soviet brutality , her memory is failing now , we will miss her knowledge, thank you for your story
