Alumni Council of Armenia pleased to announce a one hour lecture on May 8th 2006, at 9.15- on

“Democracy and the future of South Caucasus”

The lecture will be provided by Daniel Warner: He has lectured and published extensively on ethics, refugees and international relations theory. Author, editor or co-editor of eleven books and numerous articles, his work has been translated into French, German, Russian, Arabic and Persian. He has lectured at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, Moscow State University and the Sorbonne among other universities and been an invited scholar by Australian National University, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China, the Japan Foundation and Oxford University.

Dr. Daniel Warner (Switzerland)
Dr. Daniel W. Warner – Deputy to the Director of the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva, Switzerland. Of US nationality, Dr. Warner earned his BA in philosophy and religion from Amherst College, USA, and a PhD in political science from the Graduate Institute of International Studies, in Geneva, Switzerland. His book An Ethic of Responsibility in International Relations was awarded the Marie Schappler Prize by the Société Académique de Genève in 1991. Dr. Warner established the Program for the Study of International Organization(s) (PSIO) at the Graduate Institute, which serves as an interface between academics and policy-makers.
