CRRC-Armenia invites you to attend a lecture-presentation on
Chile: Democracy, Identity and Globalization.The path to bicentenary as an independent country.
The lecture, which will be followed by Q&A session, will take place at 2-3 PM on Monday, October 2, at CRRC-Armenia premises. It will include the following topics:
Facts and brief history of Chile: since precolumbian times until XX century;
The 90’s: Chile in the era of free commerce and globalization;
The first female government of South America: Michelle Bachelet to the presidency;
Chile in the Latin American Region and its relationship with United States ;
Culture and society on these days: The chilean ‘destape’.
The lecture will be conducted by a team of four young Chilean journalists who are developing a documentary film and TV series about the changes that have been taking place in South Caucasian countries since the collapse of the former Soviet Union:

The language of the lecture will be English with consecutive interpretation into Armenian.
