Thumbs down

very unclear question.
It seems to me that you wanna control the speed of each connection between your LAN-members and your server.

Commonly the "bitrate" term refers to the voice-type data.

I believe you mean something like bandwidth throttling. I guess you've got to write something like low level network driver with that kind of functionality which is forced delay insertion.

Cool

actually you ahve the follwoing ways:

1. LINUX RedHat
2. use Windows 2000 server; as I can remember that possibility included in a QOS service;

good luck!

You can try some bandwidth emulation software.

For example:
http://www.shunra.com/cloud.htm

Shunra has a free utility called Shunra/Nimbus, you can use it to throttle your bandwith between 14k to 256k.
http://www.shunra.com/nimbus.htm

I use Shunra/Nimbus to throttle the bandwidth for one of my PC, which is downloading files from KaZaa network. In that case, Kazaa will not use all my bandwidth.

Sunra/Nimbus will only allow you to throttle the bandwidth up to 256 kbps. So, I feel like Shunra/Nimbus is the scale down version of Shunra\Cloud v4.0. So, I need the crack for Shunra\Cloud v4.0, but I have no luck.

I did found a http://acid.xs4all.nl/code.html (http://acid.xs4all.nl/code.html) for Shunra\Cloud 3.1, but I could not find the software.

Anybody can help?

Thank you in advanced.
