Candlelight protest march!
On Saturday, May 19th at 20:30, Levon Gulyan’s friends and relatives are organizing a candlelight protest march starting from the Republic Square to the Headquarters of the Police of the RA (Nalbandzyan – Charenzi intersection).
On May 12th, 2007 Levon Gulyan, a witness being held at the Shengavit police station, was taken by Hovhannes Tamamyan to the Headquarters of the Police of the RA, were during witness examination “Levon committed suicide,” but Levon’s family has factual reasons to believe that Levon was brutally beaten and murdered by the police.
We ask all individuals and organizations that believe a wrong has been done and would like to see JUSTICE prevail, to join us at the Republic Square.
With this march, we want to make the government take Levon Gulyan’s investigation more seriously. This is not the first incident by the police and Levon Gulyan’s killers need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent!
Join us for the candlelight march and let’s show the Armenian government that the people of Armenia are not passive towards Levon’s situation. We need to rise up and have our voices heard, together we can make different.
STOP the violence, STOP police brutality.
