Smth like Web Parts for Java/JSP

Suppose I have a web application with several pages, and the main content of each one is being collected from parts(components/widgets/..., just like Google homepage, with widgets), that user can pick up from some "Widget Store".
So can you suggest me a framework/library that may help in this case?

Have you ever considered portlets as a solution? I think JSR-168 (The Java Portlet API), JSR-286 (The Java Portlet API 2.0) and Apache Pluto (http://portals.apache.org/pluto/) would be a good point to start with. Sun also provides portlet container in Java EE (although its a beta version).
