about the site
promote yourself.... you mean the jobseekers should promote themselves or the businesses...?? I dont think its a good slogan
next, not too many people would like to put their resume online so that everyone sees their work history, I wouldn't do it myself. But if you make it something like only specific businesses can see the resumes that would be good in my opinion. Why should some other person know my resume, but why not the businesses.... so I think you should take this into consideration

think about this also
another option for you is that you could provide RSS feeds, since I myself check RSS feeds via my e-mail and then enter some specific sites. This is what careercenter doesn't have
the logo part, think of something original
CSS not validated

another bad thing I noticed is that your code starts with a Javascript, which should be moved down somewhere for example into the head part of your document or body, but not before HTML, also it would be better if you make a JS include file there so it does not load every time someone opens a page
since there aren't too many things on your page, maybe you could think of having all DIV layout???? remove the useless TD codes and thus you will have more content rather than code. search engines love content but not codes.
this much for now, hope I could help you a bit
