LOCATION: Yerevan, Armenia
The Professionals for Civil Society (PFCS) NGO is looking for a qualified Advocacy Specialist.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and run advocacy campaigns in accordance with the project;
• Handle critical communications with the major stake-holders and
strategic project partners;
• Develop and maintain the coordination of the NGO network for smooth
implementation of the project;
• Insure the Advocacy capacity development of PFCS NGO through
developing and leading the implementation of the advocacy strategy as
well as mobilize resources for that;
• Maintain necessary reports, documents and other forms.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Higher education (preferably in political science)
• Relevant experience in NGO sector
• Well-developed working relationships with MPs, heads of LSGs and other
governmental officials in Armenia
• Good knowledge of legislation process in Armenia
• Work experience with international organizations
• Good command of written and verbal Armenian and English languages
• Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Internet)
• Personal integrity, loyalty and commitment
• Motivation to work and to learn
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
