Photo Contest: Water without Borders, Water for Lives
The USAID South Caucasus Water Program (
South Caucasus Water Program :: Front page) in cooperation with Eurasia Partnership Foundation announces the photo contest, “Water without Borders. Water for Lives.” The objective of the contest is to draw public attention to trans-boundary water issues in the South Caucasus and the necessity of regional cooperation.
The contest is held in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. The winner and two runner-up photos will be identified in each of the countries. Also up to 50 images will be selected for the exhibition.
Photos may illustrate, but are not limited to, the following topics:
• Water in nature
• Water use
• Water management (infrastructure, dams, etc.)
• Trans-boundary water
• Water pollution
Winners and runner-ups in each country will be awarded monetary prizes:
1st place – 800 USD
2nd place – 400 USD
3rd place – 200 USD
The contest has no limitations of age or profession to participate; however, participants must reside in Armenia, Azerbaijan or Georgia. The USAID South Caucasus Water Program and Eurasia Partnership Foundation reserve the unrestricted right to use winner photos and photos selected for exhibition in their publications.
Photos must be submitted in electronic format (min. 1 MB – max. 3 MB) or in hard copies (minimum 13 X 19 cm) to the following address:
