Position Opening: Finance Advisor
DAI/Armenia Agribusiness SME Market Development Program
Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI) is a corporation based in Bethesda,
Maryland, USA. The Armenia Agribusiness SME Market Development Program,
which is implemented by DAI, is designed to increase market opportunities
for private agribusiness and investment and subsequently jobs and incomes in
Armenia.
DAI began implementation of the ASME project on August 2, 2000. It is a
four-year effort funded by the US Government's Agency for International
Development (USAID).
DAI is currently looking for a specialist to fill the position of FINANCE
ADVISOR
Requirements:
- MBA or equivalent preferred with specialization in finance or accounting.
- At least three years of related professional experience in a commercial
environment.
- Strong computer skills including Windows, Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Armenian.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to working inside a
multidisciplinary team to accomplish assigned tasks.
Scope of Work:
- Preparation and analysis of financial information required to support
cost-share grant applications
- Providing assistance to client firms in the preparation of business plans
and related documents.
- Provide supervision and oversight to business service providers (BSPs) in
the preparation of business plans and other analytical studies contracted to
them.
- Maintain comprehensive data base covering all cost-sharing grant
activities and disbursements.
- Provide support as required to the start-up and administration of the
Armenia Leasing Company.
- Other activities as assigned by the Senior Finance Advisor.
