Jobs in Russian newspaper office in LA, Philadelphia, Boston.

Salary (average but stable) or good commissions (must own a car).

For LA office fluent Armenian, Russian, English are must.

For Boston and Philadelphia fluent Russian and English are must, Armenian is a huge plus.

No. It just assumes the ability of the person to be able to work on 1099 form (SSN or ITIN required)

ITIN is not an employment authorisation. According to IRS (organization, which grants ITINs) it should be used only in IRS-taxpayer correspondence. It's prohibited to use ITIN instead of SSN.

Use of ITIN as an SSN for employment purpouses, is a fraud/illegal employment.

1099 isn't an employment either. W-2 is.

1099 is for independent contractors, who can be from any country, e.g. Armenia.

ITIN can be used to pay taxes for any US-based income (e.g. profits from stock markets, or performing work as an independent contractor for a US company).

P.S. FYI, SSN is not a work authorization either.
