JOB TITLE: Executive Director

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of relief and community-based development operations
throughout Armenia
- Supervision of a Yerevan-based staff of fifteen
- Adherence to legal and organizational financial policies and
procedures
- Development and implementation of strategic and operational plans
- Supervision of administration, program, and budgets
- Representation of JMF-A in the Republic of Armenia
- Regular reporting to USA office, Local Advisory Committee, and Board
of Trustees
- Cooperation with government, international agencies, churches,
ecumenical bodies, and local NGOs
- Initiation of fundraising efforts to develop new sources of funds

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Academic degree in administration, international development or
related field
- Fluency in Armenian and English
- Five years work experience in non-profit management or equivalent
- Experience in the delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of
community-based development programs and familiarity with the
corresponding participatory techniques
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary Armenia
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
- Abilities in fundraising and grant writing
